Mrs. Gina Burst

This year begins my 18th year as an educator. My previous experience includes 14 years as a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher at Norco Elementary School. I am thrilled to continue my journey as an administrator here at Allemands Elementary. I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of New Orleans and my master’s degree at Southeastern Louisiana University.  I am looking forward to continuing my work with many new and familiar friends and families in the Allemands community.

My family includes my husband, Daniel, and our three wonderful children, Hannah, Caleb, and Leah.  Hannah is a junior at Destehan High School and a member of the Desty Darlings dance team, Caleb is a freshman at Destrehan High School and is a percussionist in the band and talented music program. Leah is a 5th grader at Norco Elementary and is part of their talented art program.  She also enjoys to dance outside of school.  Our children keep us very busy with many after-school events.  I am proud of all of their accomplishments and love watching them grow both in and out of school.
