Mrs. Aimie Heiden

I am excited to enter into my 20th year as an educator.  I have spent the past 15 years at Mimosa Park, 3 as the Assistant Principal. I am thrilled to start my fourth year as an administrator as I spent the first 12 years as a 1st or 2nd grade teacher at Mimosa Park. I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of New Orleans and my master’s degree at Southeastern Louisiana University.  In 2009, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. Seeing many familiar smiling faces each day makes my heart happy.

My family includes my husband, Shawn, and our three precious children, Jacob, Luke and Addelyn.  Our children keep us busy with all the after-school events.  I am proud of all of their accomplishments and will always be their biggest fan.
